The owners are very happy for you to explore the farm to see the animals (cows, sheep, ducks and chickens) or stroll down to the ponds in the valley teeming with wildlife. A wonderful place to unwind and relax, it is nevertheless only a short drive to the pretty and historic town of Padstow with its delightful pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops and the unspoilt harbour - still used by the local thriving fleet of inshore fishing vessels who mainly fish for lobsters and crabs. Just a short walk is a riding stables and the barn is also very close to a number of glorious sandy beaches – one for every day of the week - and a number of them absolutely ideal for surfing the rolling Atlantic breakers. There are championship golf links at Trevose and St. Enodoc; a passenger ferry and water taxi runs across the estuary to Rock. The route of the old railway track from Padstow to Bodmin is now a popular traffic free trail for cyclists and walkers and offers some wonderful scenery along the way.
